Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Filter Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing decimation filters and proficiency in Matlab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality digital filters, with a focus on decimation filters.
- Create floating-point and fixed-point reference designs for digital filters.
- Utilize Matlab for filter design, simulation, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate filter designs into larger systems and facilitate end to end simulation.
Minimum Qualification;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics, or a relevant field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in designing digital signal processing blocks such as FIR, IIR, decimation Filters and CIC filters design.
- Strong Proficiency in MATLAB and the Signal Processing Toolbox.
- Experience with floating-point and fixed-point reference design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in creating test vectors for fixed-point and floating-point bit accurate test vector generation using MATLAB and verify the RTL design.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
Added Advantages:
- Experience in designing data path hardware accelerators.
- Experience in hardware design using development in Verilog, System Verilog.
- Experience with other EDA tools and methodologies related to design verification and validation is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Spyglass for conducting Lint, CDC, and RDC checks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve design issues effectively. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Tcl for automation of design tasks is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ADC and Sample Rate converter.
